was perfectly clear. I also used azelex twice a day . About 2 weeks ago i stopped using the azelex and started using the kinrease line of products i felt they were making my face
oily so i switched back to the azelex this was on a sunday on wedsday night i noticed i had a massive acne attack on my forhead and cheeks thie was the worst breakout i ever had . Do you think that its due to restarting the azelex after not using it for a while . or is it a deeper hormonal problem or have i become allergic go the accutane all of the sudden any input would help thank,
I think it's the switching of products that did it. Since you said the other stuff made your skin oily,it probably clogged your pores. Then you switched back which then brought the acne out.
I use differin gel every single day.My sister thinks she doesnt have to use it all the time, and then when she does she gets a bad break out cuz the differin is getting to the acne underneath the skin and bringing it out before it can clear it up.
My advice is to just use what the doctor said and ONLY that and not to switch products. Most acne products only work if you're using them all the time as directed. Any sudden change in routine
could bring about a break out. (for instance,if I'm being lazy and dont use my differn one night,a week later I'll get some zits)
And I dont think you are suddenly allergic to accutane. If that were true it would do alot worse then give you zits.
you say you take 40 mg per week? out of curiousity, how bad was your acne to start with? i'm wondering myself personally whether a low dose of accutane is just as effective as a higher dose.
you see, in my case i weigh 145 lbs, and normally take 60 mgs a day. I just saw the derm to-day, and am taking a two week break, and am going down to 20 mgs a day when i get back. my face
during the first got exceedinly bad.
i know this is somewhat irrelevant and am sorry to waste people's time; anyhow i hope your problem clears up! thanks
