sudden appearance of moles/freckles tied to pneumonia

sudden appearance of moles/freckles tied to pneumonia

Hi,

I have been fighting off an irregular form on pneumonia for about a week and have been taking strong antibiotics. I noticed in the mirror in the past few days that my entire body is suddenly covered in moles and freckles that were not there even a few days ago. I am a little paniced as Im positive they have all shown up in the last few days, and the amount of them is astounding. This has to be tied to the pneumonmia but the doctor at the hospital had no idea and kind of brushed it off.  Could it have something to do with the lung infection or bacteria or even the antibiotics?

I would really appreciate any reponse!

Hello,
From the symptoms it is unlikely that the moles and freckles are related to the pneumonia and lung infection that you are having. Get it checked from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
