suspicious mole removal

Hi I had a suspicious mole removed the derm office told me over the phone results "mild to moderate mole". The ofice siad I have to come in 4 mths to check any skin changes in that area. HELP what does that mean???

It can be an atypical mole. These moles are larger than common moles, with borders that are irregular and poorly defined and color ranges from tan brown to black. In simple language it has features that are in-between a normal mole and a melanoma. So it is better to keep an eye on this mole and if there is any change in the mole's/mark’s color, height, size or shape, you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
