swelling on labia minor

I recently noticed a swelling on my labia minor, near the urethral orifice. It is painful only to touch or pressure. No other symptoms are present like itching or burning. It is the same color as the skin and it has an irregular shape, as oppossed to looking like a round cyst or bump. I've been sexually active with my boyfriend (protected sex) and we both had checkups done before we started having sex with each other and everything is fine.

This vaginal swelling can be due to friction rub during intercourse, Bartholin’s cyst, sebaceous cysts (accumulations of secretions that can occur Fanywhere on the skin or mucosal surfaces), lipomas (fatty deposits) ,fibromas (fibrous tissue deposits) or viral warts(small raised pimples to a mass of large, cauliflower-like growths. The virus that causes them is passed on during sex).

An examination by a gynecologist will be the best as it is only after an examination that it will become clear what the swelling that you have noticed is due to. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
