swollen on face caused by stone pimple

Hello Dr. about three days ago, I woke up with a pimple near my eye. That night I ate some prawns. The next day, it became swollen. Even though the pimple has exploded, the swollen still had not gone. What caused the swollen and how do I get the swollen to disappear.

The bacteria associated with the pimple has not cleared up and until it does the skin will remain swollen.  It may take up to two weeks for it to subside.  Picking at the area will only exacerbate the bacteria and will spread to other pores.  You can apply ice as a temporary fix to reduce the swelling.  Apply topical OTC acne spot treatments after washing your face as part of your morning and evening regimen.
