thank you for your response, but i am just wondering if their is anything treatment you recommend, i have used t- gel and nizerol , the t gel got rid of one patch but returned years later,so i have started using it again.I have been told the best results will happen if i shampoo every three days with an antifungal shampoo or coal tar shampoo and use as long term treatment and this will help?

For the scalp, shampoos containing zinc, tar, and salicylic acid can help.  For the skin, hydrocortisone and antifungal creams help.  There is no specific regimen--you try them and see how often you need to use them, once you get a response.  The condition does come back, of course, and then you just treat it again until it goes away.

Best.
