thin skin

i have thin skin and would like to know anything that would help strenthen it i can barely bump myself and get a bruise that takes 2 weeks to heal any suggestions i would appreciate. i am 40 years old it is a huge problem to me. it makes me look soo much older.

Hello,
The blood under the skin which causes the discoloration of bruising should be totally reabsorbed by the body in three weeks or less. If your bruises take two weeks to heal, then there is nothing wrong with you. There is no treatment as such for thin skin and you should not worry about it. However of there is any easy bruisability then your hematological profile needs to be checked.
