tinea incognito(2)

Dr.R,
Thank-you for answering my question about the tinea incognito on my leg. You made me feel much better.
Just a quick follow-up...since the area of my tinea incognito(from microsporum canis with my dog)is reoccuring now only on the biopsy sight, is that because it is a harder area to treat due to scar tissue?  Also, since I am on econozole cream(as I understand it, an azole that inhibits the growth of fungi) and grifulvin v(also an inhibitor) and neither actually 'kill' fungi...will that combination work to eradicate the fungus completely?
Thank-you in advance for your opinion and reccomendation!

I'm not sure why the biopsy site is the only involved one, but I'm confident that the oral/topical combination you're on will take care of things fully.

Best.
