tiny clear blisters

by Jungleboy, Sep 14, 2004 12:00AM
Hello Doc

Iam a 23 male.  Just the other day,  i was out doing water sports in a lake all day and got sunburned.  later on in the evening i felt some kind of bump on the head of my penis.  Later on in the night i checked.  There was  a little bump on the rim of my penis(where the head is) and below the head where a bunch of tiny clear blisters. Looked like they where filled with water.  But so small i had to look very close.  there where, i think bout 10 of them in this little area about an inch big.  i pressed on them and clear fluid came out.  Very little came out and it looked like water.  I had no pain at all down there.  Just a little itching.  The next  day there where little scabs.  Needle point size.  Everywhere that the blisters where.  No burning, just a little sensitive. The day after that there almost clearing up and there is a little bit of a red area there.  Iam very worried that this might be herpes. Maybe from me gettin too much sunlight triggered it or something or hittin the water at fast speeds.  My gf and i have been together for almost a year now. And she has never had anything like that. I haven't had any other sexual partners. Except bout 5 or more months ago i recieved oral from a girl(which she knows bout)  but thats it. Ive never had a herpe sore on my lips or anywhere else.  Either has my gf.  If this was herpes, wouldn't it hurt more? or even burn? please help me
Thx

Please get to a doctor right away--not because it's dangerous, but because a blistery eruption could conceivably be herpes and the best way to get a clear-cut diagnosis is to have a doctor see it and perhaps culture it.

On the other hand, it could be something else entirely--perhaps an irritation of some kind, or even waterlogged skin.

Either way, diagnosis and treatment will require examination.  The sooner the better.

Best.
