tiny red bumps

On friday I awoke to see reddening on the left side of my bottom lip. I thought i was getting another cold sore so i rushed to the emergency room. (Prior to witnessing those bumps, i have been recieving recurring cold sores, one cold sore lasted for a week, and the other one is two weeks and counting, i still have blemishes of the cold sore). The doctor prescribed me acyclovir. The next day, i awoke and the tiny red bumps had spread to the rest of my bottom lip and the corner of my mouth with a tingling sensation. I use vaseline for the tingling. Then today i awoke, there is no pain, but parts of my lips, top and bottom, are swollen. I am so confused as to what this can be. I really need help.
I don't have any STD's, so i am so confused. I can't find answers anywhere.
I thought maybe I caught an allergic reaction because the night prior to those red bumps, I stopped at the supermarket and purchased some grapes and later that night i ate some. that is my only theory.
