tip of penis is swollen

by mile01, May 25, 2008 04:11PM
I had sexual activity last night.  When finished I noticed some swelling right between the head of my penis and the shaft.  My foreskin would not retract back over the head of my penis.  It's been about 12 hours now and the swelling has gone down some but now I'm noticing swelling in the tip of my penis.  My foreskin has now retracted more but it still hasn't returned to its normal form.  I have no pain just discomfort.  What should I do?  Is there any home treatments I can try before going to a doctor?

Yes, wait a day or two and don't do anything.  Most likely the swelling will go down and you'll be fine.  If you're still having a problem then, you can consult a doctor.  Meantime, avoid sex or other sources of friction.

Take care.
