two sets of bumps like pimples with tiny dot scabs

I woke up with two small bumps on my neck about an inch apart inflamed like little pimples they itched and stung. Friend said it looked "like  a vampire bite" We decided it was maybe a spider bite. This is in San francisco. two days later I awake in Philadelphia and I have the same thing on my belly button. on ebump is on the top and the other kinda inside the bottom, again about an inch apart.

When first there, they look like bug bites- small pimple-like bump, then next day a tiny dot scab in middle. By now the set on my neck has faded and looks like two fresh mosquito bites would look. Teh belly ones still itch and ting and are in the tiny dot scab stage.

1. Is this a spider and why did it cross the country with me?
2. Is this an STD. I recently had vaginal intercourse but he used a condom. We did not use a condom for oral and we touched each other alot.
3. Is this a woods mite? a week ago I was camping on  Big Sur coast..
4. Is this some  virus or rash or specific kind of pimple that happens in sets?

Hi,

At this point , we have to consider your medical history: The camping and sexual history are significant. The location and appearance of the rash should also be considered.

At this point, an insect bite appears to be more likely. The bumps are more localized and they seem not to follow any pattern of distribution. An STD may present with other symptoms as well (eg joint pains, change in urinary patterns, genital dicharge). A folliculitis may also be another differential. This is a bacterial infection caused by skin bacteria and may present as red bumps involving hair follicles.

I know you are worried about this. Wash your clothes well. Use a mild and bland cleanser when taking a bath but in your case try to cleanse as thoroughly as possible. You may have this assessed by your physician. This may resolve on its own. But with pain and a possible bacterial infection, your doctor may have to prescribe you with medications.
