unkown egg-like bump UNDER pubic area skin?

unkown egg-like bump UNDER pubic area skin?

So I noticed a couple days ago that I have these little white, hard, bumps under the skin of my pubic area. I have had ingrown hairs before, and I definitely know the difference when I see them because I shave down there. They can be popped, but once you try, its popping through a whole layer of skin.. And they're maybe the size of a grain of sea salt. They are hard, and to me they seem like eggs.. I'm just not quite sure. There is no puss, no weird liquids afterwards, and they're all over the pubic area. Once they come out, they do bleed though. I have no idea what it is!! Please help.

I looked up what you mentioned, and it said that they look like circles with holes in the middle, and they're also tender. Mine are hard, and egg-like. There is also no rash in the affected area. It has not spread anywhere else on my body, and I've been with my boyfriend for a year, and he doesn't have any such thing anywhere on him. I'm 17 years old, and female. Since I guess I forgot to leave that out. Lol

Unless molluscum are infected secondary they are not tender, nor they need to spread elsewhere. There is no associated rash either. They can affect any one including children. The umbilication on the top of this may not be visible to you.Though there is a sexual component you can get it even from a pool. Indeed without photo difficult, but then from the clinical features yes.

Hello,
It can be due to folliculitis or molluscum contagiosum. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
