vesicular spots

vesicular spots

I have two spots on the back of my ring finger about where the ring would go.  They started as small, burning veiscular pinpoints and are now much larger and VERY red.  They are not ***** or tender as with a bacterial  soft tissu infection.  Is is possible to get Shingles or herpes sores on the back of your hand and such small numbers?  I have not ever had any type of herpes virus other than chickenpox...

How would I gbe exposed?

I have had shingles on my left hand ring finger.  I thought it was poison ivy or something similar, but ut kept coming back, so I went to see my family doctor and he said it was shingles.  I also have a small spot that comes up on my chin (though not at the same time.)  So, I think it is possible, but I have not seen or read about it anywhere else on the internet. My symptoms are the same as those I have read about online, though.
