wart healing?

I have had this wart on my foot for about 2 years, it was small and didn't bother me and I had read that they will go away eventually. However aout 3-4 months ago it starts growing bigger and then I started picking at it. I went to walmart and bought compund W liquid OTC to get rid of it.

I have been applying the remover 2-3 times a day for the past 4-5 days. The skin around the wart has turned white which i understand is normal but I have also been using tweezers to  get the extra skin off that the salicylic acid has burned off. The wart its self has turned white which i also understand is normal however a deep crevice in the wart has developed.

I don't know if this is because of me picking at the wart and sloughing the dead skin off or not. The crevice looks really deep and dark while the rest of the wart is white. It is also a little painful now. It never was before. it is sensitive and painful to step on, i have started to gaurd my foot because to hurts and is uncomfortable to walk on. Any ideas?

You need to consult a dermatologist because since the crevice is painful, so it looks like ulcer formation which can occur due to infection which may have been introduced while using the tweezers or due to overusage of the wart removing chemicals. To confirm the diagnosis and getting the treatment you need to consult a dermatologist.
