wart pods on nose

i am a 30 yr old male, smoker with no other outstanding medical issues.  for 1 year now, i have had (what I believed) to be a wart on my nose tip.  i have tried various salicylic acid topical and a home remedy with duct tape and those have not worked.  typically, when i shave i just cut the top of the skin and let it pus out... last night, it was dry and i gently picked at it.  i was surprised by how deep it felt.  i picked at it and found about 9 pod-like white spheres about the size of a grape seed.  5 were bigger and 4 were smaller.  there was a lot of bleeding and one by one i squeezed them out.  there was a lot of blood.  previously, i had a buddy who told me he had the same recurring thing on his hand and that he actually squeezed out and (with a knife) cut out all the seed-like things.  while i initially thought these were warts i could not find any kind of wart with pods on the internet.  i don't think it is a parasite because it has not progressed to anything else.  is it a wart, parasite, or something else?
