I think what you have is an inflammatory response to pain of wearing old shoes. In case if you have inflammatory response then there would be some collection at the area, which if drained then it would lead to discharge of whitish non-infected fluid.
I think you should stop using old shoes.
This also might be an allergic response.
You can continue to apply your ointments, but you can start with Anti-inflammatory medicines to help further in getting over pain.
