wax allergyI

I heard that some people can be allergic to wax.  Is it true?

Hello,
It is not exactly allergy to waxing but can be due to irritated hair follicles after waxing or due to application of cosmetics after waxing which can cause an allergic reaction. After waxing, one should apply cold compresses(ice cubes wrapped in a towel) on the skin and take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or claritin. You can also apply calamine lotion on the rash. It will help in soothing the skin.A mild corticosteroid cream will also help.
