weird grid like or diamond shape pattern on my skin

wondering if any of you have ever heard of this.... every now and then i get this weird shaped diamond like pattern on my skin. Its almost always right under my chin, and then sometimes it's somewhere else too. It will randomly show up for a day and then go away. Its not like I'm leaning on anything that would imprint a pattern but that's what it looks like. Today it was under my chin, and by my arm pit kinda.  Its so weird. its not like a rash, it doesn't itch or hurt, its just a pattern - but a very precise and always diamond shape one.

i found this forum of other people that have the exact same looking pattern! http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread359449/pg3
but no one has seemed to figure out what it is!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
One possibility for such a rash that comes and goes is dermatitis skin and the other possibility is of hives. Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.

I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist when the rash appears so that the diagnosis can be confirmed.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Me too. Not sure it is same or not. I have 4 red spots that form a nearly perfect diamond shape if you connected the dots. Or...more like the side of a die (as in dice) that has the four " :: " but slightly skewed, on an angle -- at longest point-to-point it is probably 2"

No itch, no discomfort -- it has been there for about 6 days, I'd say.

I ignored it at first, thinking I had been leaning against something and that whatever it was had left an impression (but what would it have been?! it almost looks like i had been putting all my weight on one hand pressed against a meat tenderizing mallet or something...) but the next morning it was still there

The spots were not raised, at first -- or at least did not appear to be at all - now they seem to be raised ever-so-slightly, but it feels like that is happening BELOW the skin (below the epidermal level anyway)

I think it's a coincidence, but I did have what felt like extreme muscular pain about 3" away from the area, for about 36 hours, which made it painful and difficult to just grip or hold anything that had any weight to it at all
But I really think that was from returning to the gym, injuring myself slightly, and not sure if it was before or after I got the marks

The marks simply do not appear to be a "normal" nor a random thing, but stranger things have happened

listen, it sounds kind of cool to think I was taken on a spaceship or that my mundane life might now be part of some larger conspiracy, but I don't expect an alien probe, nor sadly, am I expecting an invite to study at Hogwart's

But...I'd welcome any info or any other symptoms that any has had that accompanied - mostly just because I'm curious now - I doubt that I have a rare fatal disease

I have had some aches and pains as of late that do not seem to be the usual for me, specifically, standing up seems harder and almost painful as of late, but that I also attribute to the gym (actually to taking off nearly two months after years of working out 4-5 times/week)

Also, for a week preceding the marks my chest was sore -- it felt like a deep, internal muscular pain - i mention this in case someone with marks realizes they too had any of these aches...

Oh, and if you are an alien reading this should you come to abduct me, please let me sleep in tomorrow, THEN you can use your tractor beam, pull me into your ship, do your experiments, etc. I merely ask that you drop me off near a starbucks so I can get a latte to properly get going and make it through my day.

Seriously though, anyone else have this thing on their skin? Any other symptoms?

Has anyone considered possible drug interactions? I saw on another post someone had been having these rashes since being in a psychiatric ward as a teen.

I'm kinda puzzled last week I had these in explainable lines on my shoulder that were present for a week. Now I have 3 rows of dots all about dime size that are not raised or hurt. I have pictures of the dots and have no explanation. I was bothered so much that I Googled it and have posted a response on every site I can find trying to find answers. I haven't had crazy dreams or seen space ships or anything like that and am a perfectly healthy 30 yr old male both physically and mentally. I know its a long shot but if anyone out there can offer a legit exploration it would be greatly appreciated.

I woke up with 2 circular marks on the left side of my ribs. Know nothing about it.
Avatar universal
I just woke up the other day with the same pattern on my arm, no cause for it. I did not hit it, bump it, the bumps are not raised, itchy, or painful in anyway. Just a perfect grid-like pattern. Jokingly, I said aliens, now the only info I can find is on that same thread you posted! Something more scientific would be greatly appreciated.
