what could it be ?

About 5 or 6 months ago I started getting what looks like small ring warms on my penis, I went to have it cheked out, and the doctor said it would be in the feild of jock itch/ yeast infection, she gave me nystatin, and it went away but now it's back, so I googled my proble that lead me here to see that i'm not the only one, it's been back for about two weeks, what do you think it could be.

It can be ringworm penis or nummular dermatitis. I would suggest you to get a KOH examination of the skin scrapings done along with biopsy skin to confirm the diagnosis. Nummular dermatitis is a type of eczema and steroids used for this may worsen the condition if it is a fungal infection.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
