what could these be???

I had a bikini wax about a week ago and I just noticed these pin-sized white, hard bumps in my genitalia. I know I shouldn't have touch them but I did, out of curiousity. They were very delicate and completely came off. They did not have any fluid in them. Also just to cover more bases, my last sexual encounter was about 6 monthes ago- and a condom was used. Before that July of 07 was the last sexual encounter. Please help, could these be warts or just bumps due to my bikini wax??

Without examination,confirmation of a diagnosis is tough,but it sounds like folliculitis or infected hair follicles. Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).

Pls keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.Pls consult a dermatologist in that case.
