I suggest that you have an immediate consult with a urologist. Rapid growth of a scrotal bump ( is this correct?) requires further evaluation.
A scrotal ultrasound may be necessary to evaluate the contents of the scrotal sac. Swelling of the scrotum may suggest a hydrocele, varicocele,a hernia or a testicular infection.
A hydrocele may enlarge and may transilluminate.Varicoceles have a distinct feel on palpation.A hernia may enlarge when one strains.
Is there any associated redness or pain in the area?
Any penile discharge?
Any change in urinary symptoms?
