whats inside my cut?

i have a cut, and i think it's pretty deep. a yellowish halo/ring is inside it, fairly small. is this some virus or simply an infection? should i be worried?

i've had this itch under my feet and in the palm of my hands and sometimee on my arms and also the back of my head, it is unbearable, sometimes it keep me from sleeping. its like a itch that is impossible to scratch and releave.

An infected wound usually presents with pain or tenderness, localised swelling, or redness and associated fever, delayed healing, discolouration of tissues both within and at the wound margins, or abnormal smell coming from wound site. Are there other signs or symptoms present? What caused the cut?

It would be best to have it evaluated by your doctor and to update your anti-tetanus shot as well. A culture of the wound would also help indicate the microorganisms present and which antibiotic may be used. It is important to keep the wound clean and dry. Avoid manipulating to prevent further infection.
