white dots on skin

there is one white dot on my skin on ribs.
that has come recently only
what may be that
plz advice

Hello,
From your symptoms two possibilities are coming to my mind. First possibility is of pityriasis versicolor and the second possibility is of vitiligo. Pityriasis versicolor versicolor is caused by a fungus that lives in the skin of almost all adults. Vitiligo is a pigmentation disorder in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed. As a result, white patches appear on the skin in different parts of the body.

My sincere advice would be to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
