Hi,

Have you tried local application of calamine lotion and oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications?

Have they helped with your symptoms?

What has the doctor prescribed for your symptoms after a clinical examination?

You could wash your clothes with chlorhexidine once and sun dry them if possible.

Let us know about how you are doing and if you need any other information.

Regards.

hi

thank you for the response, I went to the doctors but they say an allergy is most likely. I was very concerned it could be HIV related, in combination with the other symptoms that is... testing negative at 4 weeks for now.
does anyone have any infos on hiv related rashes - at 5 weeks post exposure?
I really think it may be to do with the cleaning service for my clothes... using starch? I get a burning sensation when I put clothes on too...

no history of allergic reactions or any substances either.

thanks for the response!

Hi,

You could take some oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications like loratadine or cetrizine and see if it helps with your symptoms. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions to help soothe the symptoms.

Have you had allergic reactions in the past? Are you allergic to any specific substances?

You would still need to consult your doctor about the associated symptoms you are having and to rule out a bacterial or viral infection and whether you need a course of antibiotics or other medications.

Let us know about how you are doing and post us about what your doctor advises.

Regards
