white spots

by wmac, Jun 23, 2007 12:00AM
I get these little round little darker than skin color looks like after you burn yourself and it starts to scab over but its not a scab, then after a while that falls off and I have a white spot. I get these all over my legs and have a few on my arms. But I have little white spots all over my legs now they look like little scars but thats not what they are from. If I wanted to I could pick the little brown thing off and then there is the white spot. I have only done that once. The spot then just stays white forever. But when the little brown spots appear out of no where they are round looks like they are drying up and like I said that darker spot comes off and then its totally white. What could this be. Some are bigger than others. They are flat not raised not bumps just flat once they dry up gone then white.
thanks in advance for taking my question

Don't really know.  These could be a form of eczema that leaves pigment changes after it goes away.  Depends on your skin color and whether you have a tendency to pick or scratch them.  You'll need to see a doctor in person for this one....

Take care.

I went to the beach for 3 days this weekend.
The part where my swimsuit didnt cover my breast got a little burnt and so did my shoulders but i wore sunblock with an SPF of 15 and another one with an SPF of 6.
When i got home i was told sour cream takes off the redness so i rubbed the sour cream into my skin. The redness went away but about a day or two after i got these white spots un my upper chest.I would want to know what this is and how i can treat it.What do i do?
