white surfaces on my skin

I have big white surfaces on my skin ,generally on my showlders,my arms ,chest .At the bigining they were pale red ,then  they become white and flat  , I had this problem before 2 years ,but they disappear ,now  i hahe big surfaces almoct 10 cm .I'm 18 years old  and i dont know what to do.pleas help me

From the symptoms the possibility of tinea versicolor needs to be ruled out. Tinea versicolor is caused by a fungus that lives in the skin of almost all adults. Factors that can cause the fungus to become more visible include high humidity and immune or hormone abnormalities. Treatment involves topical and oral antifungal medicines.

For confirming the diagnosis, I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
