I started having the same problems... Little tiny "boils" or "blisters" on my feet and hands... They got worse. Here's my story, don't read on if you're squeamish... I got them back in 2004. Two of the doctors i visited said the same thing above. They disappeared for a little while, but they came back. Surprisingly the vinegar helped in the first few months... But after a year, nothing happened. Both of the same doctors prescribed me a drug, both different. I took both of them, and nothing seemed to happen. 2007 was right around the corner when i started looking at pictures of me drawing and sketching. I have had a pretty decent camera for a long time, and i'm not sure anymore who took the pictures, but they were clear, of my hands, my pencil, and the paper. I didn't even need to zoom to see the dots (not bragging about my camera's quality), but when i did, and looked at my hand, compared to every picture taken... It had gotten worse. A lot, lot, worse. It was gradual, really gradual, so i hadn't noticed. Over time, i developed severe arthritis which i figured was from all of my drawing and sketching. 2007 passes and it's 2008 when i can barely even move my hands. The doctors keep calling it what the people above called it, and say the arthritis has nothing to do with it. I leave both of the clinics that day pissed. Really, really, really pissed. So i go up to the biggest city in my state with my mom and brother, to a really well known hospital. I'm in for about 10-15 minutes before i hear my name called over the intercom, which isn't procedure at all. They embarrassingly tell me to get up without touching anything and to wait at the door about 20 feet from me which is locked. So, I do it. There, on the other side of the door, are people in hazmat (however you spell it) suits. They open both doors like i'm a VIP at some club, and then signal me down the hall to the elevator, they press the up button, but right as they do, the doors open and 4 more people in hazmat suits come out, they all signal me in, two stay behind. I get up to the 8th or 9th floor, when they put me on a plastic gurney, and handcuff me to it. I'm starting to freak out because nobody will talk to me. I'm slowly wheeled down the hall when i see "CAUTION: HAZARDOUS GEAR (not gear but some other word) IS NEEDED WITHIN ALL AREA OF THIS FACILITY". I almost started to cry. I didn't even explain to them what was wrong with me and was very confused and full of fear (I found out later my mom had described it.) They put me onto a metal gurney that's bolted to the ground in the center of the room (also, the room looked like something off of star wars), and give me anesthesia. I'm knocked out cold. I wake up i guess before i was supposed to and look forward and down at my feet. (OF COURSE YOU PROBABLY DON'T WANT TO STOP, BUT IT GETS VERY VISUAL RIGHT HERE) My toes... Are gone... I start to scream as i look to the right and see two people in the suits typing on big computers. They look back at me and press a button, activating something that looked like a police siren(or the lights on top of the car). I feel like i'm in a horror movie, i'm still looking at them when somebody in a suit (ok for now on, all of them have suits in this room, because they did.) and sticks a need right in my arm, which makes me of course look at my arm, noticing... None of my fingers are on my left hand, and there's a V'ish cut leading from where my fingers are into my palm. I can't look away... I couldn't stop thinking about my toes, and now the fingers, i look over at my other hand. My right hand. The hand i draw with... All of my fingers are gone. Same V cut. Suddenly, asleep again. I wake up on scheduled time a day and a half later. This time i'm in a normal room. Like nothing ever happened to me. There's a doctor in the room, and he's washing his hands not looking at me, unaware of my awakeness. A nurse walks in and says "Jodie might need to put him back in the (cant remember title) room". He looks at her and tells her to shush. "He's due to wake up any minute" Which is pretty hypocritical because i woke up to him washing his hands. They talk about my Rapidly spreading virus (in the U.S., not my body) and say that a cure hasn't been found other than (something else i can't remember) but he says it's only curable if you cut off all of the affected areas, and then use the medicine, which i guess intertwines with your blood cells or something to make you grow back fresh skin, while the medicine stays in place forever, subduing it if it comes back, meaning it's technically killing it, but at the same rate as it's basically growing. So... Now i have to try to draw, with two fake hands whenever i slip them over my actual "lobster" hands, and have to wear special shoes because my toes (the toes are what keeps a show in place in usually all designs of shoes if you didn't know that) are gone. So at the end of this, about an hour after typing it, i'm warning you. GET IT FIXED. There's supposedly a cure now, but it's dangerous to mix with whatever i still have in my feet. BUT YOU CAN STILL SAVE YOURSELF. The bumps can go away even i was told, but resurface much bigger because the time spent in the hand is like an accelerator. I also want to mention this. They say they never brought me into that room, and they say i never saw people in hazmat suits, "it was something the anesthesia made me dream/hallucinate. I wasn't hallucinating when i woke up to the Stupid doctor and nurse. They talked for 10 minutes about the whole ordeal (whispering to try not to wake me, while i was pretending to be asleep). I hope you save yourself, you probably have many uses for your hands, if you have a partner, they may need your hands for help every once in a while. They can't do all the chores, they'll never be pleased if you don't have anything to contribute to them. I'm not trying to sound rude, but i don't even want a girl friend, because i know she'd get tired of me having small plastic fingers or Lobster Hands. If i had my regular hands, she'd always be happy... but i don't... so please... get help. Get help quick.
If you don't, the fingers start to shrivel and the virus after 13 years can spread into "private" places. I think around 20 years was when they said the blisters are almost everywhere under your skin, and when they emerge, i guess it's all around a week and then your entire body starts to break down skin cell by skin cell, and you basically... lose all skin. Goodbye "sweety89", keep those hands... your boyfriend or girlfriend will definitely be happy about it. As will you whenever you're alone. You know, if they can't help you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to pompholyx or scabies if the blister like bumps present in between the fingerwebs and are very itchy. The exact cause of pompholyx is not known and excessive sweating can be one of the reasons. But some triggers like allergic reaction to soaps, detergents, foods, latex, nickel etc may trigger the symptoms. Apply some calamine lotion on the affected area and keep the area well moisturized. Use only thin applications of moisturizer ointments as excessive amounts of ointment may restrict breathing of the skin and aggravate the condition.

Topical steroids can be applied but they are available under prescription. Moreover to prevent infection, topical antibiotics may be needed. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

This is known as pompholyx and related to nickel sensitization, or fugus infection elsewhere in the body.
