worried about seborrhoeic dermatitis

hi, i am a 30 year old man and i have had seborrhoeic dermatitis for 12 years, i have 4 small patches ,1 on my hairline, two on my scalp and one small spot on my sideburn, the reason for the question is i have looked on a lot of sites and seen some ghastly pics and it has really worried me about it spreading everywhere,my doc says it wont get much worse but i got so pariniod, and its ruining my life

You have absolutely no reason to be paranoid, and no reason for a simple and common condition like seborrheic dermatitis to be ruining your life.  The pictures you see are of extreme and rare cases.  Since you've had this for 12 years, it's plain that you don't have a rare and extreme case.  Period.  So I suggest that you stop surfing the web about this, and seek out psychological help if you need it.
