Hello,
Hirsutism is excessive hair growth of thick ling hair in areas where hair growth is minimal. It is usually caused by hormonal imbalance and in women PCOS is one of the leading causes of hirsutism and infertility. These hair are found on chest, areola, upper and lower back and inner thighs.

Hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hello,
It is normal to find some hair growing on the breast or near the areola. There is nothing unusual about it. You can go in for plucking, waxing or epilation of the hair.  However if the hair growth is excessive, then hirsutism needs to be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
