yeast infection or molluscum contagiosum?

yeast infection or molluscum contagiosum?

About 3 weeks ago, I found pin sized bumps on my groin area just below my belt line ( i have a small beer belly so it hangs over my belt) I waited 2 weeks before going to the dermatologist, He took a biopsy and have now been in agony freaking myself out for the last 2 weeks over what it could be and my appointment is on thursday. I"m not starting to notice pin sized bumps on my penis that are popping up, they are hardly raised but over the last few days my penis has started to get sore, burns when it's touched or after I pee, and masterbating (masturbating) is basically impossible now because the pain after it isn't worth it. Now I read online something about a yeast infection in men could this possible be what i have? The doctor thought possibly molluscum contagiosum, but I didn't know if that could cause pain/soreness. From pictures i've seen on the internet, my bumps dont look like molluscum, or herpes, or warts so i'm at a loss, they most resemble pictures of a yeast infection but I dont have flaky skin, or whiteness just red pin sized bumps. (not a terrible amount of them either). I do have a girlfriend, we've been together 6 months, I took a STD test back in march it came out all negative (the blood type test) does this sound more like a yeast infection or molluscum contagiosum or something else? thanks for any help.

Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
