yellow spots

yellow spots

My 2 years old daughter has some yellow spots in her neck, shoulders and arms.  I took her t the doctor and he told me it was some kind of rashes, I send her a medication that I have been using but instead of getting better, the spots are getting more white.  But what really concerned me is that I was talking with my daughter babysitter about her rash and she told me and show me the same kind of rash.  Are rashes contagious, did my daughter got her rash from her babysitter or is this something else?

Hi,

The description here is not complete. Where is the rash exactly? Is this area exposed to the sun?

How long has she had this rash? Any history of similar rashes in the past? Does she have allergy of any kind? Does this rash itch or pain?

Please provide more information here to help you. Meanwhile, protect this rash from the sun and use a medicated sunscreen.

Apply calamine lotion at the sites and see if it helps with the rash. Reconsult with her doctor and let us know if you may have any more queries.

Best regards
