Actos--Not A Solution!

My resident doctor put me on Actos30 with long injection of Lantus in evenings.  I was on Actos and rejected it early in the year...because, now as before, it caused me to swell, especially in the middle of my body.  I woke up in night needing to go to the bathroom, none of my clothes fit.  When I beat my mid-area like King Kong, I was playing a drum!!!  And, mentally, I was ready to kill!!!!  A week ago I didn't realize that pill had fallen on the floor and when I found it next morning, determined it was an act of God!  I felt better even by Tuesday evening.  Today, I have no urgency and have lost the major bloat--but BS is about 15 points higher and won't go below 215 on FAST.  I feel like my doctors are not experts in treatment--understudies...and I have asked to be referred to an endochronologist--but it hasn't happened yet.  I see internal medicine primary care doc on Sept. 2.  I can't take metformin (it put me in hospital 5 years ago when I wasn't Type 2...inflammed colon from all the diahhrea!  Any input on this?  All my 4 siblings have Type 2...I am oldest, but last to develop it...but on top of it all, I have PCOS--double trouble for diabetes!
