Am I on the right medication and are my reading in the right range

I am recently diagnosed with type II diabetic.
I was asked to take a few oral medicaiton.
Glucobay (1/2 every day in the morning and night before meals)
Metformin 850mg x1 every night
Glimide x1 every morning
I was also shock and sad when I know I am a diabetic
Anyway, I am currently activity monitoring my blood sugar level
My currently reading in the morning before breakfast is 5.6mmol
My reading before lunch is ard 3.7mmol - 4.2mmol
My post meal (2hr later) after lunch is ard 7.2 - 8.0 mmol
Before dinner is 4.2mmol - 5.1mmol
I am wondering is my medication too heavy
Or am I on the right medication.

Your readings look normal. The "before lunch" 3.7mmol is pretty low though. 3.33 is dangerously low, so be careful not to fall under that level. Pay close attention to your diet (low or no sugar, low bad carbs) and exercise moderately and you're good to go. These will lower and/or control your glucose levels.
