Am I taking an average dosage of insulin or not?

by rgc729, May 14, 2008 11:22PM
I take 25 units of NovaLog Mix 70/30 in the morning and at night. Is this normal for most or is it larger than most?

Were not savy to your medical history nor your test results, so only your health care provider can best answer your question. "Normal" to me is no insulin shots, just my 250mg of Metformin daily. A friend takes 4000mg of Metformin daily and he feels that is "normal" for him. We know another person who injects 4 units of Novalin before meals. This is "normal" for her.
