Diabetes and thyroid problems

Does thyroid problems affetc glucose levels  I  have just found out I have a goiter after five years on thyroid meds I have lost weight but I still have the symtoms( lethargy hair thinning mind fog) of thyroid  My blood glucose levels were high but are now running in the normal range on the most part  I am wondering how can I work with the diabetes if my throid is having an affect on my body.  Most medical infor makes me wonder if doctors really know how to treat thyroid

Yes.

Untrue. You need to see your doctor. Medication adjustments may be in order.
