How do you use the Glucose Meter?

I assume most of them are the same. I borrowed my mom's FreeStyle Flash and I just wondered if you put the blood sample on it before you put it in the meter or after you put the strip in the meter? I cannot get in touch with my mom to ask and the directions are not with it. I looked it up on the internet and it did not actually say. It showed how to insert the strip etc...

The only dumb question are those that aren't asked. Never assume all models are the same as directions, display and functions and use may differ with each model. Follow this link for the owners manual. Please read carefully and understand the display functions. http://www.****.***
