I was wondering is it ok to drink when you have diabetes. Because I've read that you can along as you carry your indentification with you, and take your bs before and after u drink. It is true that it can decrease ur bs after you drink after a short period of time.
Part of the answer would seem to depend upon the drink being consumed as some are going to contain sugar(s) within the mixes. I seem to recall that alcohol can/is converted into sugars by the body too.
I guess from my perspective, if there is any question, why risk it at all?
There are forms of entertainment which do not depend upon losing part, or all, of one's inhibitions to enjoy.
