Kidney Hemorrhage??

Kidney Hemorrhage??

My father's doctor wants him to get a CT scan because she suspects a kidney hemorrhage. My dad is considering putting off the test because "If I did everything the doctors wanted me to do, I'd never get any work done." He is in his early 60's, his kidney function is at 34%, he also has Adult Onset Diabetes.

How dangerous is a kidney hemorrhage? What are the health repercussions to putting off the CT scan, if he does indeed have a kidney hemorrhage?

"Hemorrhage"..... the word alone tells the urgency and need for this test.  He could lose a kidney or worse, it's time to put his health ahead of work. It takes no time to get the CT scan and well worth it.  Convince your father to keep following his doctor's advice, they run tests for a reason, and he is fortunate to have one so proactive with his health.  Men tend to be stubborn and often don't want to "face" what is happening to them physically, he needs a push from someone like yourself.
I wish you both all the best.
