I too get leg cramps if I do not drink enough water during the day or eat too much salty food, my doctor has said be sure to keep up your calcium levels, 1200 mgs daily , also drink more milk and eat some cheese. I do not know why but my diabetic friends also have leg cramps at night I am also adiabetic myself. but know if I drink enough water daily I do not have cramps, and if I stay away from salty foods too. hope this helps

I do not know what is causing your leg cramps but I have something you should try.  I purchased cramp911.  It is amazing.  I love that it is homeopathic!  Topically applied and results in seconds!!  It is worth a shot.

Lack of calcium in your diet can cause cramps in your legs.
