Am a diet controlled diabetic. Blood sugar is over 200 each morning. Should I be back on meds?

You betcha.

Consult your physician about use of Lantus.

Every time your BG is over 140 your body is being damaged.

Your choice, if you still have a long life ahead of you you might want to limit the damage from high BG

to me,to any book, that is dangerously high. I would consult an Endo ASAP.
Good luck

OVer 200 means you are not controlled.

Normal blood sugar should be < 140 at all times.

Yes, you should be back on meds, insulin, if necessary.
