glucagon kits

i gave my mom a glucagon injection the other night and tonight when she dropped to 36 i had none to give her.  i can hardly open the gels,and drinks because of my oa in my hands.  she was not able to eat anything whatis the next best thing to use?

Glucose Tablets....they are 4 grams of fast acting carb per tablet

I would take her to the hospital and let them get her stabilized

I'm not a doctor I am a diabetic, this might help works for me glass of orange juice with real sugar (Tablespoon) or a can of non diet soda eg: coke pepsi etc, If she is conscious and can swallow, this will help if not 911 is the next step. In any case she needs to be seen by her ENDO something is not right with her meds or food consumption.....Best of luck PS the previous writer is right have her checked out in the ER with that low blood sugar...............Rich
