Did they diagnose you with
HYPERHyper-sal- or HYPO thyroidism?
In either case, treatments are quite good and the important thing is that your doctors found it early so they can treat you. Many babies, in either case, are born just fine, even if they come a bit early. Be sure to have a consultation with an Endocrinologist and be followed frequently--this is not a time to lax off, be aggressive about your care! Your thyroid levels should be checked atleast every 4 weeks, esp with this recent diagnosis.
