i tested my sugar level,, and it is 60 right now,, I have a history of seizures, not eplizy though,,, and was wondering if the seizures could be caused my low blood sugar?,,, thanks
HI,
In general low blood sugars do not leadLead poisoning to seizures until your level is below 40mg/dl, and for most folks even less than 30mg/dL. That said, everyone is different, so you may have a slightly different seizure threshold. 60mg/dL is not likely to cause seizures though, so I would suspect another cause at this level(too low on your seizure meds etc).
Definitely talk with your doctor if your seizure pattern is changing, and please do not drive yourself anywhere.
