Failed 1 hour glucose test

Ugh, I failed the test with 169. I now have to do the 3 hour test. Curious what others have experienced with this test. What was your 1 hr test result and did you pass the 3 hour test after failing the first test? Either way, I feel like this is a sign to watch what I eat.

I failed both. Had to go to the diabetic clinic and eat according to a diabetic diet and check my sugar and record for about a month. After that month, I saw the doctor at the diabetic clinic and he looked over my sugar testing and eating for the past month and said that I was fine, and just had a concerned OB and nothing to worry about.

I failed the 1 hour test with my blood sugar being a little high. I did the three hour and it turned out that I actually have problems with low blood sugar. In the last hour my blood sugar was extremely low and I felt very sick. Goes to show, you never know what will happen. Good luck!

Yeah, I have heard quite a few people fail the 1 hour. Well, go in for my 3 hour next week. Hoping for a good outcome! Thanks for all your input :)

They don't do the 1 hour test over here anymore because the amount of people that failed and had to go do the three hour anyway so now everyone has to do the three hour. It was a bit boring but I had some other ladies doing it to talk to. But I passed and I ate a heap of junk food at the start. But eating healthy doesn't guarentee you won't get it I know plenty of active and healthy eating women who failed

I passed my 1 hour test for my 1st n 2nd pregnancy  but on my 3 my doc said he doesn't do the one hour but does the 3 hour only so I did it n passed it also right away. He said he doesn't do the 1 hour because when ppl fail it most don't show for the 3 so he just rather do the 3 for everyone

Dnt stress too much I failed the first one too. I came home prayed and prayed to GOD to help me pass the 2 one and he did!!! Good luck hope you pass this one.

I failed the 1 hr test by 34 points. Failed the 3 hrs one by 7 points. Going by my food habbits and family history, this was a complete surprise for us. Started my diabetic diet. Its not that tough trust me. Just try to stay stress free. Stress increases your sugar level tremendously. I didnot know that untilly session with the diabetis specialist yesterday.  :)

I failed the 1 hour test with a 150 and passed the 3 hour with no problem. I really think most people fail the 1 hour. Seemed to be the consensus when I asked people about their 1 hour. Don't stress yet!
