I was gestational diabetic with my daughter and she was born fine. I had her at 39 weeks and 5 days. She weighed 7lbs 14oz. I had no complications at all during my labor. I am now pregnant with my second and I am also gestational diabetic and I am 36 weeks and 5 days.

Another words no juice no fruit no bread nothing with high sugar I been on insulin since 12weeks and I hate it. I hate the diet everything I want and love to eat has been taking away . I went through this with my first baby as well and didn't have no problems she was born barely 9 lbs and had her vaginally this one sugar has been high and low like a roller coaster no matter what I do so Idk what will happen I'm currently 22weeks and ready for all this to be over. Just praying. i don't have a big big baby and no c section other than that its not the most horrible thing in thewworld

From what my diabetes clinic has explained to me making full term(40 weeks) is unlikely. I have been told diabetes can prematurely age the placenta causing the need for early birth. However I will be watching your post to see what others have to say.

I had my son a day before his due date with gestational diabetes. I was diet controlled so did not have to take insulin or anything. My baby was normal weight 7 lb 5 oz. He did have a bowel movement while I was still in labor and so needed a pediatrician in the room when I delivered in case he inhaled or swallowed any of it but he was completely fine
