when seeing the specialist how long after eating did he want the results?

Was it the hour after your meal?
Or the two hours after your meal?
& of course below 120
I'm just curious to what other specialists want results
Thank u for answering

I was told to check at 1 1/2 - 2 hours after beginning eating.  The idea is to find what is your peak blood sugar (for some it will be earlier and some later), and that is the one they are trying to control.

You can find your best time to test by testing every 30 minutes after starting to eat and finding when you peak.  Thereafter that will be your target testing time.

I send my results to my perinatalogist, I check one hour after meals. Your orders may be different because I am diabetic even before pregnancy.
