21 year old girl always been skinny just got diabetes 1300 blood sugar

okay so my girlfriend is 21 years old... in good shape, always played soccer eats alot of junk i guess but also alot of good stuff too...
the past week or so she has felt really sick and finally i convinced her to go in to the ER nex thing we know her blood sugar was like 1300 and she s type 1 diabetic which diabetes seems to run in her family...
shes home now and were having a hard time figuring everything out... every time we check her blood sugar she is around 280 to 400 somethin.....
isnt her target way lower than that??
and when she does more insulin she feels like crap
this is all confusing

hard to believe she had 1300 blood sugar reading and it was not done in the morgue.
as to eating junk, FORGET IT FOREVER unless she doesn't mind going blind, having her limbs amputated
yes bs of 280 to 400 is WAY TOO HIGH
normal is 80 to 100 and for a type 1 diabetic probably best to keep 90 to 130 to start
since she is in good shape a little exercise will help lower bs
a new world awaits u 2
good luck

yeah doc said thats like comatose blood sugar ....

its weird because her uncle tells us at 90 she should feel okay, and when she tests 90 she feels like ****

and the diabetic doctor or whatever at the hospital yelled at her on the phone saying for type 1 bla bla bla i reccoment you not excersize...

its confusing, everyone is giving us different advice, only its way different .,asadkfjas;dfijasodifj

does anyone know where we can go for help with disability, we were already denied and i guess missed the boat for appeals time.... but this was for mental disability before.. now that shes type 1 diabetes... we hear that is enough to qualify... we need help and our wheels are spinnin, but we are getting NO WHERE

she needs to deal with her disease, forget about disability; millions of people have this same type 1 diabetes; some learn and take control of their lives, others r too lazy to try and end up getting their limbs amputated and going blind AND THEN they get disability; so if that sounds like the future u want; go for it

and yes for a insulin dependent diabetic a NORMAL blood sugar of 90 may be a bit too low because it can be DROPPING at the time of testing
