Competative swimming with diabetes

Does anyone with Type 1 diabetes swim competatively?

Yes Gary Hall Jr. is an Olympic swimmer. He competed in the Olympics, then was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. After he was diagnosed, he continued to swim and made it to another Olympic team. I can not remember the years he swam. He also had ADHD.
