People with undiagnosed (and therefore uncontrolled) diabetes do often have a sweet-smelling breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor in an unpleasant sort of way. Some people also mention a coppery smellSmell - impaired Stools - foul smelling if the person's sugar levels are high enough that fat cells are being burned off. Do check the following list of symptoms to see if you meet any other symptoms of diabetes:
fatigue
thirsty
hungry all the time but doesn't gain weight (may lose weight)
frequent uination (because you are drinking liquids all the time)
I would suggest that you see your doctor and have some blood tests done (he may also want to check for digestive tract problems), and also perhaps to see your dentist in case you have a dental problem that is causing this odor.
